Kamel will take us on an informative tour of cheese: definition, types of milk used, culture, the Rennet Enzyme, types of cheese, preparation, maturing. Famous cheeses from around the world, country by country, will be presented (along with their consumption rates).
Kamel will also highlight the pairing of cheese with wine and food as well as customs related to the consumption of cheese.
Other topics to be discussted are: the Cheese Board etiquette, cheese by-products, Lactose intolerance.
