Autumn 2012: 4 sessions
Language: Arabic and English
The early years of the 20th century saw major changes in the world of painting. Several schools saw life then. These were to influence Art movements for the rest of the century. Leila will have 4 sessions, each one devoted to an artist from the early 20th Century. The 4 artists selected share one thing in common: they lived in Paris around the same time. During each session, she will present the artist and the background to his work. Then she will present images and videos about the artist and will end with a Q&A session with the participants. The artists (in order) are: 1) Modigliani, 2) Munch, 2) Klimt and 4) Kandinsky.
