Profile of the Talk
Emile will be giving a talk that is explorative and wide ranging. It will explore the surprising beginnings of our monotheist faiths …. and the surprising connection of these 3 religions with two major cultures around great rivers: the Nile in Egypt and the Indus River basin.

Emile Nucho
Emile Nucho (نخًّو) was born in 1943, in Beirut.   In 1958, his family moved to Canada where Emile finished highschool and enrolled in university in Vermont, USA. He attended McGill University (Montreal) to graduate in Islamic Studies.  

His wanderlust, however, propelled him and his young family to go to Zambia to teach there! His next step was in Baaqlin (just intime for the 1975 war) where he became Director of the Shouf National School for about two years. After that, he went back to Cadada then back  to Lebanon, where he worked for two local companies. Between 1982 and 1994 he lived in Canada, in business as well as teaching at the University of British Columbia University. He currently setup his nomaidc tent in Mexico where he retired as a Professor at Tec de Monterrey University.
