With an ability to put his guests at ease while forensically dissecting their lives, Ricardo Karam has always encouraged them to open up and reveal their innermost thoughts. His winning personality, coupled with a single-minded determination to get beneath the skin of his interviewee, guarantees the viewer a revealing insight into the mind of a leading personality.

Ricardo Karam
Born in Caracas to Lebanese parents, Ricardo Karam carried both South-American and Middle-Eastern cultures. This mix shaped his character and led him to look for wider horizons and touch the unreachable on the international scene.
Almost 25 years of successful series, interspersed with documentaries and Talk Shows presented on all the leading Lebanese and Arab television stations, have combined to establish Ricardo as one of the most sought after media personalities in the region.
In 2008, he conceived “TAKREEM” foundation, an exceptional initiative aiming at celebrating Arab achievements around the globe. and standing against negative stereotypes of Arabs, often perceived as terrorists, extremists or buffoons as well as to inspiring youth.
He published two main books: “Privileged Encounters” (2000) and “The Lebanese Paris” (2005).
Receiving several distinctions, Ricardo Karam has been an active speaker and mediator in key economic, cultural and media forums whether in the region or the world. He serves on the board of several academic institutions, associations and NGOs.
