The talk will cover the question: what to look for (taste) in wine? We will learn what the following are: bouquet, aroma, acidity, sugar levels, alcohol levels, color and other components. If logistically possible, wine will be offered for tasting these components.

George Naim is a chemical engineer. He comes from Khorbet Qanafar, the traditional place wineries in the Bekaa bought their grapes. In the past 10 years, George realized his love for wine by starting up a winery in Khorbet Qanafar. Joining George are two persons: Hiba Salloum, oenology consultant with an oenology degree from Bordeaux and Adib (George’s son) with a degree from UC Davis, California in wine making and cellar management.
