Spring 2012: 4 sessions
Visual presentations aiming at stimulating imagination and appreciation of art, nature and man- created objects, and the development of ones ability to observe, describe, analyze and evaluate visual experiences.
First Session: The Alphabet of Art – The formal elements of visual experiences and the magic of seeing them all together
Second Session: World Art – A general survey of the eras and schools of art throughout the ages  
Third Session: Art in Lebanon – A general survey of painting and sculpture in Lebanon throughout the ages.
Fourth Session: The Human Figure in History – Comparison of ancient and contemporary presentations of the human figure.

Cesar Nammour, art historian, followed the plastic arts in Lebanon closely since the late fifties. Received his BBA at the American University of Beirut in 1961 and his MBA in 1964 at the American University in Washington DC.  Co-founded Contact Art Gallery in Beirut in 1972, Gallery Les Cimaises in Zouk-Mosbeh in 1987, and Art et Culture in Zouk-Mosbeh in 1993. Published twenty books on art and more than one hundred articles in Lebanese newspapers. Co-founded the Contemporary Art Society in 1997 and the Lebanese Association of Art Critics in 1998. Founded with Gabriela Schaub the Festival of Lebanese Art Books in 2009, RectoVerso Library in 2010, the Monot Street Book Market in 2011 and initiating in 2012 RectoVerso Museum of Installations
