The Talk
Was Alfred Nobel, known for the world's most prestigious
prize ever given, a merchant of death or a benefactor of humanity? Being
married to a Swede and having mastered the language Viviane became acquainted
with the mentality of the kind Swedish people.
From this experience she also discovered the fragile and
sensitive person, that is Alfred Nobel, who excelled in his scientific as well
as his artistic interests. Why and how this genius came to give his most
important invention - The Nobel Prize - to Humanity is in my opinion a subject
worth listening to.
Viviane is an AUB graduate with an M. Sc. Degree in Food
Processing & Management. She is the founder of the Research and Development
and the Quality Control departments of "Wadi Al Akhdar" brands.
She left Lebanon for Sweden with her husband but rapidly
returned with her family to teach at school and share her knowledge with young
people. An eternal student, Viviane, spends most of her time taking all kinds
of courses, scientific as well as cultural. She believes in what Mahatma Gandhi
once said: "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to
live forever."
